The internet is a very useful resource for virtually anything you want to learn about. For instance, if you wanted to know the benefits of hiring a tutor, you will find countess websites dedicated to talking about this topic. The authors of these websites use a lot of English and words to describe the importance of tutors and why you should get one for yourself or for your child if you think they need one. I am tempted to write such as article myself, but today I won’t allow myself to be classified under such authors.

Today, I am going against popular expectation and writing about the cons of having a tutor for yourself or for your child. I am going to give you reasons why getting a tutor is such a wrong idea and after I am done, I’ll hope that you at least take what I’ll have said into consideration. Let us start.

Tutors are expensiver
Before you even think of getting a tutor, you need to understand that tutors are not for free. The minute you hire one, you are committing a good sum of your monthly income to paying them. Even though how much a tutor is paid often varies with the location, you wouldn’t expect to part with a small amount if you want a good tutor who can guarantee good results. Some tutors are very expensive and they may even be hard to come by because they are on high demand and you will not find them sitting there idly waiting for you to hire them to tutor your son or daughter.

For families that survive on a tight budget, hiring a tutor can be such a huge addition to monthly expense. Before you make this decision, you must discuss with your partner to ensure that they agree to it so that it doesn’t become a source of wrangles in the home.

Children can feel pressured by their parentsr
Besides tutoring being expensive, it is also a source of pressure for the children. It will mean that after they come back from school, they have to sit down again and start learning the same things they have been learning in school the whole day. If you are a strict parent who wouldn’t be happy with your child missing a tutoring session, you can expect the pressure you put on the child to be negative. They will definitely try to find some other ways of venting. In most cases, venting in secret is a bad thing because it will involve doing some criminal or bad things.

If a child feels too pressured by their parent, they may also become uncooperative to the tutor. That means that they will be physically present for a tutoring session, but they will not put in any effort to actually benefit from it. This can be a huge waste of time and money for the student and parent respectively.

Safetyr
How sure are you that your teenage girl is with an adult male tutor who is offering them Tuition (è£ç¿)? The answer is that you can never be completely sure that your child is safe. So then, the question is, why get yourself and your child into something you are not sure is completely safe?
