Each year we get one step closer to the world we envision. I am the dreamer, the visionary. My dream for 2015 is to live in a peaceful world. Is it possible? I believe it is.

We have three things in life; drama which is senseless chatter, we have cause which is desire and action and then we have peace which is love and understanding.
I have spoken about will and intent; this is where it comes into play. Our world would be a much better place if only people came from a place of sincerity and compassion.

One day I pray that we will look at each other as humans. One day we will not deem ourselves more worthy of life than another. One day no person shall ever feel shame, guilt or be deeply hurt inside for who they are.

The world is not just like you. We are blessed with many cultures in our world. We have every size, shape, color, language and gender possible. But we don’t treat each other nicely. This is where will and intent come in. A person is a person until their intent is to hurt someone else. This is how we have murderers, rapist, child molesters, human trafficking, scammers, bullies and just plain mean people.

I am going to refer to a recent article about a transgender male who committed suicide, Leelah (Josh) Alcorn. Here is the link to the article: http://www.msn.com/en-ca/news/world/death-of-transgender-teen-sparks-deb...

In my perfect world, bad things would never happen to people with good intent. The innocent would no longer have to suffer because of other’s fear. Not one single person would shed a tear due to other people’s malice and misconception or lack of understanding. There are far too many people getting away with things that hurt people and then we have others who have nothing better to do but place their judgment on someone else. Again, the world does not resemble just you.

Personally, it saddens my soul Leelah took her own life. Her life meant so much more than she imagined. She speaks for the transgender community and the hurt and pain is more than obvious.

You see, just because you are not with familiar with something does not make it right or wrong. People are who they are, let them be. If they are not hurting someone, let them be.

Who knows, there might be a special place in heaven for those whose intent is not kind. It might be that they are reincarnated as the victim the next time. We will never know, but I do believe that a life taken is a tragedy.

We are brothers and sisters of this world. There truly is no race in my mind, as our bloodlines travel the globe. A person of honor will ask questions about things that they don’t understand instead of criticizing and inflicting pain on others. In my perfect world, love and understanding rule over fear and ignorance.
