If you are trying to buy a digital camera, you are in for a challenging task. There are a lot of different manufacturers making cameras, and they each sell more than one type. You will also discover a great deal of bad cameras on the market that really shouldn't have been made to begin with. When looking for a camera, you should establish the criteria you need to have. Are you interested in a camera that is under $500, or do you want a camera that is at least $200? Some people want to be able to take videos and short movie clips while other people just want a basic point and shoot camera.

Once you have what you want narrowed down, you can then take your shorter list to search for the perfect choice for you. If you want high quality photos, you will want to get an old-fashioned 35mm SLR camera since they traditionally capture better photos than most digital cameras. But the reason you want to have a digital camera is so that you never have to spend your money on developing rolls of film. One aspect that lots of people think about is the media cards. The Fujifilm FinePix A303 sold with a 16 MB card, and of course, if you need more storage than that you can always pay for the optional 64 MB card in order to have more memory. And if you opt to buy the 64 MB, card you won't ever need to worry about running out of memory as you can delete the pictures once you transfer them to your PC.

Even though the FinePix A303 is small in size, it is still a 3.2 mega pixel digicam which has the ability to compare to models which are more expensive. It features a 6x total zoom, USB port for connecting to a computer, red-eye reduction, built-in timer, and built-in flash. And the ease of using the FinePix A303 is also something a lot of people like about this unit. The fact that you can't shoot videos with sound is something that some people don't like about the Fujifilm FinePix A303.

One of the complaints people have had is that it goes through batteries. However,, if almost all of the photographs you shoot don't need a flash, you will see that you will get a lot more life from the batteries. However, you will be changing the batteries if you use the flash or screen. A lot of people have complained that they are losing photographs because of the review function when they are looking through the pictures they snapped. You will end up overwriting the pictures if you don't scroll to the end of the photographs before shooting new photographs. This can easily be avoided by scrolling to the end but if you forget you may lose some pics you really wanted to keep.

Some people have also complained about the plastic construction, and how flimsy the unit is. All in all, you will see that most people like the FinePix A303 and the fact that it is made with a plastic case is something that nearly all people expect from a digital camera that is cheap. If you listed your criteria for a digital camera, and this one meets your criteria, then you won't have a reason to complain.
