Coffee might taste great and get you going in the morning, but is it good for health?
Drinking coffee has become a crucial part of the daily routine of more than 50 percent of Americans, including myself. Based on the recent researches, coffee is not as bad as it was initially thought. Drinking moderate amount of coffee will not harm you and it might help you. In the given write-up, i have described few pretty and ugly sides of the coffee.
Coffee consists of many health benefits. Coffee can decreases the chances of many illnesses in human body. You can reduce the risk of having Parkinson's disease if you are drinking coffee on the regular basis. Moderate consumption of coffee might lower the chances of type 2 diabetes in younger and middle aged people.
Coffee also helps in protecting liver cirrhosis. By drinking coffee, you can reduce the chances of the formation of kidney stones. It also helps in the protection against Alzheimer's disease. As per the recent research in mice confirmed that caffeine equals to 5 cups of coffee everyday reduces the build up of destructive plaques in the brain.
The presence of caffeine in the coffee can helps in the improvisation of asthma disease.
Meanwhile, coffee has many negative effects as well. There might be chances of increasing your LDL (bad) cholesterol levels if you are drinking coffee in heavy amount. Coffee can also damage the functions of blood vessel. Coffee can also leads to fast or eratic heartbeats.
The caffeine in the coffee is a mild diuretic and can increase the urine excretion.
Thus, i would suggest you better to limit your coffee intake. If possible, drink black coffee without adding anything. And do not take artificial sweetners or sugar along with the coffee.
