“The Holographic View of Great Spirit”

When we look at a hologram we see only one tiny aspect of the whole image. Take for instance the hologram on credit cards, if one would cut that hologram up, every single piece of the hologram contains the whole image. But depending upon where we stand that image is completely different, and if we move a little bit back and forth we see different aspects of the image. And with many great scientists saying that much of what we see is a hologram as with Michael Talbot and his book “The Holographic Universe”— then why would God not be included?

Perhaps we are all seeing everything from our own biased perspective? Perhaps everything we see we can only seen through the understanding and perspective of our beliefs. But can God, the Universe, and the One and Only be boxed into a few beliefs?

Could it be that what we believe creates our Universe, because we put on the glasses of that particular belief, and thus everything is tinged with that color that changes everything in life? Take for instance buying a new pair of sunglasses that have a dark green tint to them. Everything we see in life is then tinted dark green, and after a while we don’t even notice the color at all… and take for granted that we’re even wearing tinted sunglasses.

Perhaps the sunglasses of belief come along with new revelations and learning lessons. Such as when we are a little child and we are abused by a stranger and thus we never trust strangers again. Or later in life we have a spouse cheat on us and thus we never trust a relationship from that point on. Perhaps we had a parent who berated us as a child and from that point on we see the world tinted with sadness and anger. And everyone of these challenges come to us to make us grow and become better people. But at one point or another their comes a huge realization “That everything not is what it seems”. Thus life takes on a whole new energy, and everything is looked at from a new vantage point.

When it comes to our beliefs and our understanding of the workings of the Universe, and the One and Only why would it be different? Perhaps the great Thomas Merton said it all when he said: “There is in all visible things a hidden wholeness”. And would the belief systems of whole societies be any different?
Sometimes we get so caught up in our own way of thinking, that we put others at odds with our beliefs… because their beliefs… don’t fit what we believe. But as Paramahansa Yogananda pointed out— “To me there is no difference between one person and another; I behold all as soul-reflections of the one God. I can't think of anyone as a stranger, for I know that we are all part of the One Spirit”.

Perhaps it’s time to concentrate on looking at the world from a new perspective, perhaps such as a black hole. In a black hole none of the scientific ways of dealing with the world… such as gravity, light, and time work. So if we throw away all preconceived ideas… what would be left? How would we answer the questions “Who Am I”, and “What is my Purpose”?

It’s kind of like going to a baseball field and finding that all the rules of the game are different, and we have to relea
the game all over again. But as soon as we relea
the game, that perspective becomes a new tint on our sunglasses of life and thus we have to relea
the rules one more time. Otherwise we stagnate, because we only see the holographic view of everything from one small perspective. Oh that doesn’t mean our world doesn’t work using that perspective… but it does limit all the possibilities.

Perhaps the rules of the game are changing all the time, but we get stuck in a rut and don’t even know we are stuck. But the great avatars understood the nature of everything. And they didn’t go out and change the nature of man, or change the nature of society in general with one flick of the wrist. They knew there was something much larger at work, something that goes beyond all preconceived ideas and beliefs. Thus the great avatars had great contentment, peace, and love for all those who were suffer in the holographic system. They knew we created these beliefs… and thus we were acting accordingly.

Perhaps it’s time for humanity to wake up and see the dream for what it really is, and know we can be free. Thus we can touch the hand of God, the Universe, and the One and Only… and everything will be different.
