The Importance of Physical Looks in Attracting Women

This is a pretty sensitive issue for many men. Should men care about their physical looks in order to be attractive to members of the opposite sex (i.e., women)? rnAs men, we know that physical looks of women have great importance, and indeed many studies show that men choose their women mainly based on looks – such as beauty, size of the breasts, curvy body, etc. rnTherefore, it can only sound logical that women would be the same, right? Well, this answer seems to wrong.rnThe way men function isn't exactly similar to the way women perceive the world. Biology Matters rnAlthough we live in a very modern world, it seems that biology and nature still have strong effect on how we behave and function, especially when it comes to issues such as sex and attraction. rnThe way we are attracted to the opposite sex, origins back thousands and even millions of years ago. rnHuman beings, until very recently, used to live in small tribal communities. Food was hard to get and dangers were many. rnThe chances of a woman to survive, especially if she had children with her, were pretty low. In order to survive, a woman needed a strong man to protect her. rnAnd you know who the perfect man for every woman was? Well, it was the tribal leader, or at least one of his friends. rnThat is why even today women are still attracted, naturally, to strong and powerful men, to leaders and to men who have strong social skills. rnAnd what about looks? Women didn't need a beautiful guy in order to survive. They needed a man.rnSo women, unlike men, put very little importance on a man's physical looks. Conveying Your Masculine Traits rnThe whole theory of picking up women is based on the fact that what women find attractive in men is not looks, but behavior. rnPickup Artists and dating coaches teach men how to talk to women, how to behave, how to be interesting, use various funny conversation starters – these are all examples of ways to convey certain behaviors, nothing related to physical looks. rnAs men, our attractiveness to women is related to our masculine characteristics and qualities. rnImagine the tribal leader that we discussed earlier – he was a powerful man, he had strong influence on his people, every woman wanted to be with him. That's the kind of man you want to be too. What about Style? rnUnlike physical looks, your fashion style can have some effect on your success with women. Basically, the biological idea of style is to convey access to resources.rnSo by having an up-to-date style, and not looking like a geek, well you can make yourself more attractive. rnI believe by choosing a style that fits your personality, so don't wear something that you're not comfortable with.rnIn addition, I suggest adding 1 accessory that makes you a bit unique. It can be special glasses, a hat or some cool shirt. rnAnyway, again, it's not your physical looks that matter, it's your behavior, your masculinity, that makes women attracted to you. rnMeeting women during the day and in social events is much easier than in night clubs and bars.
