The Mother Of Freedom Movement- Rosa Louise McCauley
Written by Samuel Drake
The Alabama Civil Rights marked its beginning in 1955. The spark for fight for civil rights was aroused by a lady garment-maker, Rosa Parks. On 1st of December, 1955 it was a normal evening as any other day, Rosa Parks was going on the way to her home in bus after completing her shift. She was sitting on the seats reserved for blacks and due to the crowd she was instructed by the conductor to leave her seat for white Americans. She was too tired to convey up her bus seat and rejected to leave her seat. She was the first to raise voice against the color discrimination inequality hence was put against bar by the local police to abolish the rule. Her confident step that was taken without any intention was became the beginning of the Bus Boycott movement which later on contributed to the Civil Rights.
