It can also read a range of audio and video file formats and play them back flawless without any screen lag. Performance The phone's processor (CPU) is clocked at 1 GHz. A high CPU speed would make the loading of applications faster and help to ensure a pleasant user experience. It is not dual core unlike some of the other competing Android phones though. When loading websites and downloading files from the internet, it is quite fast because by using the 3G application its speed can reach up to 14.4 mbps download speed and uploading speed is 5.76 mbps. It has good Bluetooth performance because you can connect it to a headset and also PBAP for phonebook access from the car kit. Value for Money Is the HTC Desire S actually good value for money though? After reading all these features and specifications, what would you be happy to pay for a new HTC Desire S? A lot of people have given the handset a high rating thanks to its fantastic value for money in comparison to the amount of features you get. It may be quite expensive but since it has numerous features, it is worth it for most. Yes, it may have a few glitches but all in all, it works well.
