Every time I embark on doing something big, I get sick to my stomach. My hands get sweaty and butterflies start swirling around like I'm lying in the middle of a pasture on a bright sunny day. The feeling sucks. But believe it or not, it is one that I have actually started forcing myself to embrace because every time I do, I usually find myself on the cusp of doing something big.

I ask you, when was the last time you experienced the sweaty palm, wiggly jiggly stomach feeling? Did you back down, turn away and head back down the road. Or, did you plow through it going for the glory? You can be honest, no one is listening.

Chances are pretty strong that, in the past, you have had some trepidation, when it came to being pushed out of your comfort zone. Don't worry, you aren't alone. However, it is a habit you are going to need to change if you really want to take your business and life to the next level.

The one thing that separates the "Undeniably Fierce," from all the rest is that they understand the significance of venturing out of their comfort zone. They understand that if the palms stay dry and the stomach stays calm, there is no growth.

They don't even give themselves the "luxury" of having a comfort zone; the minute they conquer one goal, they are off looking toward the next.

If you are ready to do what it takes to become Undeniably Fierce, try the following strategies:

Find a Goal Model: Look around and find someone who has done a superb job at going after their goals. Contact them. How do they do it? What makes them continue in the midst of adversity? What‘s their big pay off? This will help keep you in an elevated state of mind and encouraged by those who are breaking barriers daily.

Act Small, to be Big: It is time to build your comfort zone “muscle.” Each time something takes you out of the safety of your comfort zone, that muscle gets a little stronger. Like weight training, you can’t bulk up immediately, but you can do small reps over and over to strengthen the muscles. So, every week, do one thing to move you out of your comfort zone and closer to your dream.

One Day, One Thing: They say you can tell what a person values by looking at their calendar. If you truly value creating an Undeniably Fierce business and life, it will show up on your calendar. Start carving out time to put together your plan. Build a success library. Follow those who have done what you would like to do and see what you can learn from them. Do one thing every day to move yourself closer to your plans.
