The hill station is surrounded with apple trees along with plum and pear. Apart from the splendid natural scenic beauty and varied picnic spots, Manali is also the house of many ancient temples.
The local cuisines of Manali are spiced up with great deal of dairy products including curd, butter, ghee, milky tea and hot milk. Also homemade barley of Manali is very popular among tourists. A traditional local Manali cuisine includes rice, a vegetable curry cooked with beaten curd, another curd-based dish named Madra, pulses, Raita, a mustard-based food made with dried fruits, and sweet rice.
Manali is the destination that can be visited across all seasons. In every season couples as well as other tourists visit Manali because of the adequate weather conditions.
