The student visa procedures to travel to the UK are simple and clear. The process enables the aspiring students to achieve their goals smoothly.
The student from any corner of the World can apply for the Tier 4 UK visa, if
1. The student has secured a seat in the aspired course in any University in the UK.
2. The student can speak, read and write English. The student needs to prove this by passing a secure English test that is SELT.
3. The student has enough money to support the stay and pay the tuition fee for the course.
4. The student is from a country that does not belong to the EEA (European Economic Area) or Switzerland.
5. The other eligibility criteria met by the student.
The student can apply for the Tier 4 student visa to the UK three months before the course commences. The UK visa is usually granted in three weeks from the date of application.
The cost for a student visa for anyone residing outside the UK is around £348. There is an additional health surcharge payable by the student applying for the Tier 4 visa to the UK. The health surcharge fee for students is £150 per year.
If the course is less than six months duration, then the students can come to the UK one week before the course commences. If the course is more than six months duration, then the students can move to the UK one month before the start of the course.
