What I recommend you do when creating a new eBook
If you want to create an eBook, here’s what I’d suggest. Go to InternetAudioGuy.com and buy Sony SoundForge from him. I think it’s only going to be like 97 bucks. Then go and get a decent quality microphone. The one I’m using right now is maybe 20 bucks at Wal-Mart, but you can get them anywhere you want.
After you do that, the next thing you want to do is sit down, push the record button and start talking. When you’re done, save that file, maybe as an MP3 or something like that. Then you need to upload it using FileZilla. Go to FileZilla.com and download the free software. Upload it to your server. Then take that file, let’s say you saved it as MyProduct.mp3 upload it to your site.
You can call the link something like: YourSite.com/MyProduct.mp3. After you’ve done that you’re going to take that link and get your audio transcribed. Go over to Elance.com to hire somebody and say, “What I want you to do is transcribe this audio and send me back the transcripts”. Let’s say you talked for two hours. Well, it’s probably going to cost you 30 to 60 bucks to get the transcription back, but it might be cheaper or it may be a little bit more. I can usually get it done for 20.
When you get it back, look it over and you should find that you’ve got most of the words you need for your book. For me it’s a lot easier to create an eBook because I already have a lot of content. So I’m going to take out stuff that I said during the recording that doesn’t make sense and reword it a bit so that it is legible. I actually work it into an eBook. And then once I get done working it into an eBook, then I save it as a PDF. You can use PDF995 if you want to save it as a PDF. Actually, I think the latest version of Microsoft Word also allows you to create PDF files as well.
The next thing you need to do is get a header created as well as graphics for your book cover, which you are going to load into your eBook. To get this done you can go to Max at KillerCovers.com. Then you are pretty much done.
Now you want to start creating the sales letters. You don’t have to really go out and buy any product to do this.
