People in Switzerland like to hike in their home of the Alps, picturesque wooden bridges and huts, snow-capped peaks, and the blue lakes. Every Swiss is doing in average 20 hikes per year which take around 3 hours! From quick hikes to all-day trips, there are various best hiking trails in Switzerland. We show you three great hikes in Switzerland, which you don’t want to miss.

Grindelwald to Bachalpsee

Bachalpsee is one of the extensively stunning alpine lakes in Switzerland. It is encircled by wildflowers and adorned with an Amazing backdrop of glacial mountains.
The simplest way to get to Bachalpsee is by grabbing a cable car from Grindelwald First. Then you can hike a one-hour trail to Lake Bachalpsee. The cable car ride from Grindelwald Firstbahn Gondola Station to First takes twenty-five minutes.

Hike Distance:

After the cable car to First, the hike from Grindelwald to Bachalpsee is three kilometers one way. You will need to hike back six km in total.

Hike Duration:

The hikers need two hours for hiking only. With breaks, swimming, capturing photos, and returning to the starting point total requirement of time would be three hours or more.

The hike from Grindelwald to Bachalpsee is a six km round-trip on a moderate incline of 188m over the trip. It is a well-known route. Tourists can enjoy an alpine lake above 2000m inclines in the Alps after walking for an hour.
Lots of visitors accept the challenge and make the short hike out to the lake.

5 Lake Hike Pizol

The 5-Lake hike Pizol is one of the most spectacular and panoramic mountain hikes in Switzerland.
It is a high alpine hike with three challenging rises and downfalls.

In the lid section, hikers run over a screen and rocky area. For which they wear high hiking boots with the best grip.
We strongly suggest you begin the hike as early as possible in the morning. Like this you don’t have a lot of people. Furthermore, you might see some wild animals like ibexes. But the hike refers to sporty mountain hikers. Hikers must have to be at the Pizolhütte at 4.30 pm. Otherwise, they can miss the last cable car. The final downfall with the gondola lift starts at 5.30 pm. After that, there is no more vehicle possible by the Pizolbahn AG.

Hike Above Zurich

From the center of Zurich to the Uetliberg mountain, it takes twenty minutes.

You get so quickly immersed in nature that it feels so far away from the town. Tourists come up here for a hike, a tour on a mountain bike. They often chill out at one of the restaurants, sitting on the terrace and taking in the view of the lake. If anyone is lucky enough, they will see an outstanding interplay between landscape and weather over Zurich lake.

Hikers climb to the top to a lookout tower, and from 360 degrees, the view looks so beautiful. On the right side is the long beautiful lake Zurich. Its blue water dotted the white triangles of the sailing boats. On the left side is the river Limmat, on the back you can see the hills.
