Los Angeles County, California is a busy and vibrant city, known for its glamor and fame. When planning to travel to Southern California, you are probably wondering the best place to visit and the top attractions and events are to see when visiting. When I think of Los Angeles, California I think of : Hollywood, the beach, disneyland, theme parks, sports, and many more top attractions! There are so many fun things to do in LA, and you will have the time of your life! While making travel plans and considering things to do in LA, One of the must-see attractions in Southern California is to visit Hollywood while in Los Angeles. Hollywood is world famous and has so much rich history. Hollywood offers many tours that will take you around Hollywood and show you all of the famous places. Hollywood can be quite tricky to get around if you are not familiar with it, so I would recommend picking one of the tours they offer. While in Hollywood, visit Universal Studios, where you will learn about the history of the movies, go on thrilling rides, and also visit production sets! Travel to Southern California would not be complete without visiting the beach. Going to the beach is one of my favorite things to do in LA! There are endless gorgeous beaches within a short drive of Los Angeles county. A great beach to visit is Long Beach, where there are also plenty of attractions to see while in the town. Long Beach has a great aquarium to visit as well. Visiting the beach is one of the highlights of things to do in LA! Also, while in Long Beach, you might want to go on a whale watching tour. Art is a huge part of things to do in LA, if you are an art or architecture lover, then you are in for a huge treat! Take a visit to the Los Angeles Museum of Contemporary Art. Depending on what time of year plan things to do in LA, you can always check out the Los Angeles Art Walk or Art Festival, which always get great reviews. When planning events and things to do in LA, consider attending a sporting event! LA fans are very passionate about their sports. The Los Angeles Lakers are huge in Southern California. If you aren't into basketball, try visiting the famous Dodgers Stadium in LA. There are plenty of Southern California sports teams to choose from. If you don't want the busyness of the city, try staying out of the city a little bit.
