Kovalam is an internationally famous beach town consisting of three beautiful beaches namely Light House Beach, Hawah Beach and Samudra Beach. Considered as one of the finest beach resorts in the world it is just 16 kilometers away from Trivandrum, the capital city of Kerala. The beauty of the Kovalam beach is in the crystal clear water with coral gardens on the ocean floor. Local fishermen can take tourists on their canoe to the sea, so that you can see the amazing natural aquarium on the ocean floor.
