Transformational Income: A Recipe for Success

I tried a new recipe for lunch today. The recipe was kind of like a Definite Plan. I had a “Master Mind” group working with me toward the goal of a palatable lunch. That group consisted of myself, my mother (now deceased) who taught me to cook, the unknown person who developed the recipe, and the people who packaged the Scallops with instructions for cooking them.

You see, the recipe was only words on the page until I used the cumulative knowledge of my “Master Mind” group and took some ingredients, in particular amounts, mixed them together in a certain way, and voila! I had lunch. And it was pretty darned good, even if I do say so myself.

But the point is not to share my recipe or to make you hungry. Rather, it is to point out that any plans you may have for the accumulation of money are just words on a page or ideas in your head unless you have the Power to translate them into Action.

Power describes the organized effort sufficient to enable you to transmute Desire into its monetary equivalent. Organized effort is produced through the coordination of effort of two or more people, who work toward a Definite end, in a spirit of harmony.

Sources of Knowledger
Remembering that power is “organized knowledge”, let’s examine sources of knowledge:

a. INFINITE INTELLIGENCE. This source of knowledge may be contacted with the aid of Creative Imagination.

b. ACCUMULATED EXPERIENCE. The accumulated experience of humankind, or that portion of it which has been organized and recorded, may be found in any well-equipped public library or in public schools and colleges. A source of accumulated experience that Napoleon Hill did not have access to was the world wide web. (My lunch recipe, in fact, came from the internet.)

c.EXPERIMENT AND RESEARCH. In the field of science, as in practically every other walk of life, new facts are gathered, classified, and organized moment by moment. If you have not been able to access knowledge through Infinite Intelligence or Accumulated Experience, you may have to resort of experimentation and research. (I have even been known to experiment with recipes.)

The Power of the Master Mindr
Most of us cannot depend upon our own efforts to assemble knowledge and express it through definite plans of Action. If our plans are comprehensive, and if our goals or Burning Desire are big and bold, we must, generally, induce others to cooperate with us before we can inject into those plans the necessary element of Power.

You cannot have great Power without availing yourself of the Master Mind. But if you carefully craft your plans for the purpose of translating Desire into its monetary equivalent, if you carry out those plans with Persistence and Intelligence, and use discrimination in the selection of your Master Mind Group, your object will have been half-way reached, even before you begin to recognize it.

There are two main characteristics of the Master Mind Principle. One is economic; the other is psychic. Economic advantages may be created by surrounding yourself with the advice, counsel, and personal cooperation of a group of people who are willing to lend you wholehearted aid, in a Spirit of perfect Harmony. Your understanding of this great truth may definitely determine your financial status.

The psychic phase of the Master Mind Principle is much more abstract. Consider this statement: “No two minds ever come together without thereby creating a third, invisible, intangible force which may be likened to a third mind.”

Remember, there are only two known elements in the whole universe: energy and matter. The human mind is a form of energy (psychic energy), a part of it being spiritual in nature. When the minds of two people are coordinated in a Spirit of Harmony, the spiritual units of energy of each mind form an affinity, which constitutes the “psychic” phase of the Master Mind.

Man’s brain may be compared to an electric battery. It absorbs energy from the ether, which permeates every atom of matter, and fills the entire universe.

An individual battery will provide energy in proportion to the number and capacity of the cells it contain. A group of batteries will, of course, provide more energy than a single battery.

The brain functions in a similar fashion. A group of brains coordinated (or connected) in a spirit of harmony will provide more thought-energy than a single brain – and the increased energy created through that alliance becomes available to every individual brain in the group.

When two or more people coordinate in a spirit of Harmony, and work toward a definite objective, they place themselves in position, through that alliance, to absorb Power directly from the great universal storehouse of Infinite Intelligence. This is the greatest of all sources of Power. The other two major sources from which the knowledge necessary for the accumulation of Power may be obtained are no more reliable than the five senses. That is, not very reliable. Infinite Intelligence does not err.

That Power, when successfully used in the pursuit of money, must be mixed with Faith. In must be mixed with Desire. It must be mixed with Persistence. It must be applied through a plan, and that plan must be set into Action.

ANYBODY CAN WISH RICHES, AND MOST PEOPLE DO, BUT ONLY A FEW KNOW THAT A DEFINITE PLAN, PLUS A BURNING DESIRE FOR WEALTH, ARE THE ONLY DEPENDABLE MEANS OF ACCUMULATION WEALTH. That’s the recipe for success.
