Travel Thailand and Malaysia On Luxury Train Trip

Amongst the places that you must not miss on a visit to Bangkok are Wat Pho - also known as the Temple of the Reclining Buddha - Wat temple and Traimit. Traimit Wat Buddha is home to the world's largest sitting gold - in fact, the statue of the deity is made of more than five tons of solid gold and is almost three feet high. The Grand Palace is an additional sign that must not be missed, with temples and government buildings complex boasting built in ornate style and beautiful.
Enjoy a drink or a meal by the river and see the imposing structure, while you relax and begin your journey. From the Thai capital will move to one of the best known tourist attractions in the country - the bridge over the River Kwai. The train drops you at the Kwai Bridge station and from here you can choose to take the water and see the bridge in all its glory.
Once back on dry land, you may want to spend time at the Center for Thai-Burma railway, where you can learn more about the construction of the railway along which you have been traveling during travel Malaysia.
After you stop at the river, ride the train and go over the border with Malaysia, which will take you to the town of Butterworth. From here, you will be able to catch a ferry to the island of Penang, where you can spend a day sightseeing in the capital, George Town. The city was granted UNESCO World Heritage status due to the fine examples of different architectural and cultural styles that still exist here. During Malaysia travel don’t forget to enjoy some of the places in your free time and be sure to find a restaurant to taste the local cuisine has been influenced by several different nations.
A great way to get a view across the city is to take the cable car to the top of Penang Hill - as long as the clouds close in! When you board the train again, you will begin the final part of your journey that takes you to Singapore. This state of the island has much to offer visitors to its beautiful botanical gardens of its amazing variety of shopping centers and museums. The Singapore Art Museum would be ideal if you want to round off your holiday with a bit of culture. So when ever you go to Malaysia don’t forget to add this to Malaysia travel packages.
