London is the capital of England and the United Kingdom. It is one of the most preferred places for CME medical conferences. According to our database, there are a total 245 CME medical conferences to be held in London this year.

London has something for everyone since it is considered one of the world’s global cities. It is the world’s largest financial center; UK’s financial services sector contributed about £115.3 billion to the economy. London abounds with history and culture and it has four world heritage sites- Tower of London, Palace of Westminster and Westminster Abbey, Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew, and Royal Observatory Greenwich. Apart from these, London is full of many other magnificent sites. If you are lucky enough to be traveling to London for your next medical conference, we have some tips for you.

Weatherr
London experiences 4 major seasons of weather- spring, summer, autumn, and winter. Yet the weather is stlll considered unpredictable, because of unexpected rain. London is a very popular place for tourists, especially during late spring and summer seasons. If you are planning to visit London during this time then we recommend you book hotels and flights well in advance.

Travel around Londonr
London is a metropolitan city, hence you have multiple options to get around. The city has six international airports and it is of the busiest airport systems in the world by passenger numbers.

We do not recommend you plan to drive in London as there is limited parking available and there is hefty congestion within the city. Instead, you can always use the London Underground tube (which is the oldest underground railway in the world), London Cycle Hire, Uber, Black cabs, Buses, and Mainline trains.

We highly recommend you buy an Oyster card as it is very easy to use and accepted by public transport in London.
