This will certainly build you the stamina, strength, and vitality you need for an entire marathon. When it comes to running, treadmill is your best option.

If you are aiming for a full body workout, better hit the elliptical machine. This allows you to move your arms and your legs at the same time; making your muscles of the upper and lower body function to the maximum. Not only will you be working your legs, but your upper torso as well. Work out as well as your back, arms, and legs. This is an excellent addition to your home gym equipment.

While hoping on the treadmill, your legs will entirely do the work. It will establish momentum leading to more intense training building up. As your heart goes shoots up, the more calories you’ll burn. Keeping this up, your body will be programmed to lose weight faster. Thus the treadmill making you lose weight much faster.

With an elliptical, you’ll be assured to have a steady momentum. You can alternate your steady movement and pace with your hands and legs swinging. Unfortunately, an elliptical doesn’t speed up like a treadmill does. It doesn’t pick up the pace and could make you feel jaded after a while.

A disadvantage that most health buffs experienced while using a treadmill in that is has a great impact on the knees and joints. This causes pain on the said areas after working out. People with weight problems are struggling because of their sore joints and muscles thereafter. They found it hard to use their full potential while on a treadmill.

The elliptical, however, is specifically designed to minimize the impact on your legs as well as the handle bars. It is designed to stabilize your momentum, therefore doesn’t cause a strong impact on the bones and joints. A lot of people found this easy to use that the treadmill.
