Pattaya is a famous city of Thailand recognized for its wonderful tourism attractions, all are of different nature. From spirituality of Buddha temples to sinful aspects of its nightlife, and mesmerizing beach activities to fun-filled things at gardens and zoos; this small resort town has an interesting blend of tourism attractions. Pattaya is located in 147km East of Bangkok, and claims to be founded in 1959 when truckloads of American troops stationed in Isan, arrived here to participate in the Vietnam War. Initially, Pattaya was selected, by American soldiers, as a place to enjoy weekend parties. The world dispersed widely, and the town became the R & R capital of war- fatigued soldiers. Nowadays, Pattaya has become quite famous as an adult’s playground with hundreds of go-go bars, clubs, discos and massage parlors at beachside.
Even since its establishment, Pattaya sprung up as a town on the potency of its sex trade. A sex-driven city with sweaty testament, it attracts millions of travelers every year. Its coral beaches, spacious yet rowdy streets and a plethora of nightlife options can be seen frequented with European, Asian and local tourists. Nightlife in Pattaya is really amazing. You can watch heart-throbbing activities filled with naughtiness to any extent. Several hotels and beach resorts host late-night parties, which offer everything – drinks, food, Thai girls to have a wonderful night experience.
Undoubtedly, trip to Pattaya is a desirable element of Bangkok packages, particularly for adults. However, the city is striving to change itself as a ‘family-friendly’ destination, and now promoting several attractions like gardens, temples and zoos which are worth to visit with family. To getting there in Pattaya, one can use train or bus network from Bangkok. Weekday train leaves at 6:55 in morning from Bangkok’s Hua Lamphong Railway Station and returns from Pattaya at 2:20 afte
oon. Bus services can be availed at any time between 5am to 11pm on daily basis. However, one can hire private taxi as well, to get comfortable and private ride to Pattaya.
