According to much known song, the only constant in this world is change. Yes, even dating evolves from romantic blind date into virtual dating which is very rampant in the world of internet. You should bear in your mind that in the world of online dating the only truth is that everyone is lying , they tend to lie about there selves to impress other.

According to Wikipedia Lying is typically used to refer to deceptions in oral or written communication. Other forms of deception, such as disguises or forgeries, are generally not considered lies, though the underlying intent may be the same. However, even a true statement can be considered a lie if the person making that statement is doing so to deceive. In this situation, it is the intent of being untruthful rather than the truthfulness of the statement itself that is considered. Meaning no matter how heavy or light the lie is it is still a lie even if it's a white lie.

What is Online Dating lie? Is there any exemption? Basically, if somebody will ask you a certain question and you failed to answer or let just say you didn't answer the question it may not consider a lie. But exchanging some thoughts and ideas with your potential date match, it can and usually is.

But why people tend to lie when using online dating? When you start signing up in an online dating and present a prevarication profile it is hard to tell the truth since you started with a lie. When you met your date match and have a dinner date and you want to pursue what you feel for him/her you tend to tell the truth but the thing is he will realize that what you've presented in your profile is a fake you. The tendency is that he will lose some interest and that potential match may lose forever. Think about it, if you will present your self the real you in an online date your privacy and security will gone but if you will present a fake you there is a big possibility that you will lost the potential match or let say a person who is destine for you, finding a once in a lifetime opportunity is very hard in the world of Online Dating.
