Simple 3-Step Approach For Getting Back Together With Your Ex and Staying Together For Good - Uncovered For the First Time!
Written by Jeff Thomas
Breaking up with your partner is one of the toughest experiences you can go through in your life. If you’re reading this article, you already know that because you are in the middle of going through one right now. Before continuing, you first need to understand something.
The reason why people don't get back together with their ex is not for the lack of trying, but because they almost try too hard. If you want to get back together with your ex, you can’t allow yourself to have a knee-jerk reaction or do what “feels right”.
You need to be shown a solid, step-by-step plan from an objective point of view and, more importantly, a plan that works. It is that simple. That is what this article will help you with. It outlines 3 initial strategies you need to put into action that will put you on the right track to getting your ex back.
* Firstly, you need to allow for the negative emotions that occurred as a result of the break up settle down. This is essential especially if the break up occurred recently. You need to give yourself some time to recover from the shock of the break up and start thinking rationally about what your next move will be.
The risk of you doing something impulsive is the highest right now. Therefore, you need to take a step back and not let your emotions cloud your judgment. Otherwise, you run the risk of doing or saying something to your ex that will hurt your chances of getting them back.
* You also need to minimize contact with your ex as much as possible. This means significantly reducing all means of communication: calling, sending gifts, text messaging, e-mailing, etc. This will be beneficial for both of you and your ex. You need time to re-evaluate your relationship and if you start contacting your ex constantly, it’s very likely he or she will think of you as immature and clingy.
* When the time comes for you to re-establish contact with your ex, it's important to do so in a nonchalant and calm manner. Your ex must be able to enjoy being in your company again. A good starting point would be to invite them out for coffee or a quick lunch.
It’s important to make this first face-to-face contact after the break up as friendly and tension-free as possible. It's also essential that you don't discuss your relationship or how to get back together. The last thing you want at this point is to give your ex an impression that you are pressuring them into getting back together.

Dr. Venus Nicolino: You Have To Make Yourself Available To Find Good Relationships
The idea of making yourself more desirable by making yourself less available doesn't make a lot of sense when you think about it.
