  • You should not have any criminal record
  • You must have impressive English language skills
  • You will need to be registered with a professional body

Application Process of New Zealand Immigration Visa

To get or know your immigration visa process, you can connect with a leading New Zealand immigration consultant in Dubai or simply check the following:

  1. Submit Your Expression of Interest (EOI)

Submitting your EOI is the very first step to apply for a visa under the Skilled Migrant visa category. The application form of the visa outlines the general information along with the point system. You can earn points based on several factors that include your age, educational qualifications, work experience, skills, and close relatives living in the country. The first section requires standard immigration details. The country wants to ensure that you fall in the specified age bar, are of good character, are in good health, and do not bring any sort of security risk to the country and its citizens.

  1. EOI Pool Draw

Once you submit the EOI against the Skilled Migrants Visa, then you will put into the selection if your points are 100 or more or have a job offer in hand. If you have 140 or more points, then you will be selected to apply under this program automatically. If there still have some vacant positions, the immigration authorities will select as many as applicants with 100 or more points possible. Applications with misleading or incomplete details will be delayed or even rejected by the authorities. Selected applicants, on the other hand, will be sent an Invitation to Apply (ITA).

  1. Invitation to Apply (ITA)

Applicants who have been shortlisted from the pool of EOI will be sent the ITA. At this point, you will be needed to be provided evidence against the claims made in your EOI including medical reports, police clearance certificates, language proficiency, and documents related to your work experience, education, skills, etc.

  1. Assessment and Approval

Once your application has been received, it will be assessed for the PR. Apart from validating the details provided, you will be further evaluated to check whether you can successfully settle in New Zealand. At this point, you will be called for a personal interview at the embassy or center.
