The pancreas is an organ that produces natural proteins called enzymes that help with digestion. People with exocrine pancreatic insufficiency (EPI) do not produce and/or secrete enough pancreatic enzymes to properly digest the fats, proteins, and carbohydrates in their food. CREON replaces those pancreatic enzymes not produced naturally by the pancreas, and helps the body break down food. CREON, the best medicine for stomach is the most prescribed medicine used for the treatment of constipation.

The people who are not able to digest the food properly can use CERON for the treatment. The reason behind the constipation is the pancreas is not making enough enzymes because of cystic fibrosis. The pancreas swelling is also responsible for that. CREON is also helpful for body to use extra fats, protein, and sugar from routine food. The ingredients used in CREON are digestive enzymes having useful substances such as lipases, proteases, and amylases secreted from the pancreas of the pig.

Here, we have described the mechanism of CREON inside body. CERON capsule contains natural pancreatic enzymes that enter in the stomach. The capsule of CERON releases the spheres that contain natural pancreatic enzymes. The Enzymes are protected by a coating. Then the spheres mix up with the food and goes to the small intestine. The coating of capsule gets dissolved inside the small intestine and releases the natural enzymes which are helpful for digestion of food. You should not take Creon if you are allergic to pork proteins. It may cause irritation, especially to your nose and lungs. Creon should be taken during meals or snacks, with sufficient fluid. Creon capsules and capsule contents should not be crushed or chewed. Capsules should be swallowed whole.

Creon may be harmful to an unbo
baby. Tell your doctor if you are pregnant or plan to become pregnant during treatment. It is not known whether pancrelipase passes into breast milk or if it could harm a nursing baby. Do not use this medication without telling your doctor if you are breast-feeding a baby. The most common side effects of CREON include: Blood sugar increase (hyperglycemia) or decrease (hypoglycemia), Pain in your stomach (abdominal area), Frequent or abnormal bowel movements, Gas, Vomiting, Dizziness, Sore throat and cough.

Other Possible Side Effects: CREON and other pancreatic enzyme products are made from the pancreas of pigs, the same pigs people eat as pork. These pigs may carry viruses. Although it has never been reported, it may be possible for a person to get a viral infection from taking pancreatic enzyme products that come from pigs. Tell your doctor if you have any side effect that bothers you or that does not go away. These are not all the side effects of CREON. For more information, ask your doctor or pharmacist.
