Use Effective Herbs for Natural Hair Loss Remedy

Hair is a filamentous material made up of keratin protein that grows from follicles present in the dermal layer of the skin. A human contains an average of 100,000 strands of hair on his head.

Hair fall is a condition of losing hair from the scalp leading to the generation of new hair. Every person loses 100 to 200 strands of hair every day naturally; though the number varies from person to person. Though hair fall is a natural phenomenon, but excessive loss may lead to partial or complete baldness if not checked on time. Hair loss may occur randomly throughout the scalp or may occur excessively at a particular area leading to patch(s) formation.

Hair fall occurs due to several reasons. It may be genetic or external factors like stress, dandruff, poor diet, climate change, etc may be responsible. The condition increases with the age of a person.

Hair fall can be controlled or treated with the help of herbs naturally at home. Let's take a look at the herbs that are proven to be helpful in treating hair loss.

1. Indian Gooseberry or Amla: It is the best source of vitami
C and is known for accelerating hair growth. Also helps in maintaining a good texture of hair.

2. Seaweeds: A form of algae, found exclusively in the oceans, contain the high concentration of essential amino acids, vitamins and minerals. Examples include kelp, himanthalia elongate.

3. Aloe Vera: It is known for its anti-inflammatory and anti-oxidant properties. It helps in maintaining the proper pH of hair and scalp. Aloe vera when used properly can act as a natural hair conditioner.

4. Tea-tree: Tea-tree oil is a natural source of hair conditioner. Its anti- bacterial properties help in preventing dandruff and other scalp infections leading to hair loss.

5. Coconut Milk: It has a rich source of essential nutrients that helps in promoting hair growth if consumed regularly.

6. Green Tea: Being a source of Catechins helps in healing baldness.

7. Almonds: It has a rich source of vitami
E and essential cholesterol, which not only nourishes from inside but also prevents hair fall and controls dandruff when applied externally.

8. Fenugreek seeds: It has been used as an herb since ages for controlling hair fall. It acts as a good source of enzymes essential for hair growth and is also helpful in preventing greying and dandruff.

9. Henna: A paste of henna when applied with amla, green tea and egg yolk not only prevents hair loss but also increases the volume of hair giving a fine texture and softness.

10. Lettuce and Spinach: It is an essential source of vitamins and minerals that should be consumed on a regular basis for natural hair growth.

11. Onion: Use of onions also helps in regrowth of hair, especially when rubbed regularly over bald patches.

12. Lemon: A paste of lemon seeds and black pepper works wonders for hair fall and bald patches.

In addition to the above mentioned herbs, a proper diet rich in proteins, iron, calcium, magnesium, vitamins and minerals; a stress free lifestyle, adequate sleep, proper blood circulation, clean hair as well scalp and intake of healthy beverages are required for a good hair.
