At some point in our lives, we all have had warts. There is no end to products at the local pharmacy that can be used to help get rid of our warts. However, some people prefer to use home remedies.

The most effective home remedy is the duct tape occlusion therapy.

Apple vinegar is a natural wart remedy that is known to give quick and effective results. Lime juice or alcohol can be used instead of apple vinegar.

Applying tea tree oil over the wart helps kill off the surrounding virus and soothes the skin. Use a cotton swab soaked in tea tree oil once or twice a day on the wart.

Milkweed and dandelion oil been used as natural wart removers.

Using garlic as a natural wart remedy:
---Put vitamin E oil around the wart and then put a crushed clove of raw garlic on it. Cover the wart with a bandage. A blister will form on the wart and then falls off within a week. Putting Vitamin E oil on the wart will help it to heal.
---Cut a garlic clove in half and rub it on the infected spot several times a day. The warts will fall of by themselves in a few days time. Remove and peel the cloves of a small bulb of garlic. Chop them finely and then crush them with a mortar and pestle. Place the garlic in a container with a lid on it. Pour enough olive oil over the top of it to cover the garlic. Store this in the refrigerator over night. Keep applying this oil until the wart disappears.

Put a chopped raw onion in a dish. Cover with salt and let it sit overnight. Apply the juice of the onion on the wart twice a day. Do this until the wart is gone. Note: Apple vinegar can be used in place of the salt.

Slice a fresh pineapple into thin slices. Put the slices on your warts several times a day until the warts are gone.

Dab castor oil, listerine or vinegar on your warts. These can be applied individually or as a mixture.

Tape a piece of banana peel to the wart (flesh side to the skin) or rub it on wart every night before bed.

Patience is needed if you are going to use natural methods. It takes time for some methods to work. It can take weeks or even months to get rid of your warts.
