Useful Home Remedies to Cure Nausea Naturally

Nausea is not an illness but a symptom for other health conditions or disorders. In order to cure nausea it is necessary to determine and to treat the cause, the root of the problem. Nausea is generally accompanied by vomiting and it cannot be connected to a specific disease or ailment. In spite of the fact that everybody has experienced nausea at a point it is very difficult to describe the symptom. Most of the time nausea can be easy treated. The problem appears when it is combined with vomiting because it can lead to dehydration.
There are many factors that can cause nausea: food poisoning, digestive problems, pregnancy, headaches, and excessive intake of alcohol, coffee, and tea. Some medicines can provoke nausea, too. Traveling in cooped-up buses, stress and excessive worries can also lead to this unpleasant condition.
Fortunately nausea lasts only several hours and can be easily treated. Home remedies are very efficient and they can cure nausea permanently. More on, many of these home remedies are at handy so getting rid of this condition is easy enough.
You can treat nausea taking one or two tablespoons of non-carbonated syrup. These syrups contain carbohydrates which have the property to cool down our stomach.
Gingerroot is also a great remedy. Take two capsules of gingerroot and you will get an immediate relief. You can add some a piece of ginger in cup of tea and drink it with little sips. Ginger has the property to soothe the stomach and that's why it is efficient in treating nausea, too. Having herbal candies, red raspberry and slippery elm can be also of a great help in this case.
Chamomile and peppermint tea have great medicinal properties and can help you to get rid of nausea.
Pregnant women often suffer from nausea in the morning. A good remedy for them is a mixture prepared from a tablespoon of apple cider vinegar and one of honey and a glass of cold water. Take this remedy before going to bed.
Mix a few teaspoons of wheat germ with mix and take this remedy at very hour. This cure will also treat nausea from the morning.
Boil half a cup of rice in a cup of water for 15-20 minutes and then drain the rice. Drink the water and you will feel an immediate relief.
Grind half a teaspoon of cumin seeds and you will get relief from vomiting and nausea.
Mix curry leaves extract with a teaspoon of honey and a teaspoon of lemon. Take this extract 4-5 times a day.
Spearmint tea is a great cure against the morning sickness.
Peppermint oil can be successfully used in treating this unpleasant symptom. Pour several drops of peppermint oil in 600 ml of water and boil it. Put this water in your room.
Lemon peel is another efficient remedy for nausea. Cut a slice of lemon peel (just the yellow part, not the juice or the white part) and boil it in a cup of water about 2 minutes. Let the liquid to cool, add some sugar or honey and then sip it. You can also drink it with the spoon.
