Over a period of time, the face starts showing signs of aging. Facial rejuvenation treatments are sought by both men and women for minimizing the lines and wrinkles on their faces that make them appear older than they actually are. Injectable fillers such as Radiesse and Restylane can help you look much younger. The fine lines and wrinkles on the face are mainly due to: • Laughing and facial expressionsrn• Loss of skin elasticity, owing to agern• Exposure to the sun and environmentrn• Tightness of muscles These filler treatments are basically designed for improving the wrinkles and fine lines on the face. Due to loss of elasticity, the skin appears loose and starts wrinkling. With facial injectable fillers, volume is added to the areas of the face, where volume and elasticity have been lost. If you desire a wrinkle-free and a younger appearance, injectable fillers are a good option. Some problem areas that can be corrected by Radiesse and Restylane are: • Lines between the eyebrowsrn• Crow’s feetrn• Fine lines around the mouthrn• Wrinkles around the eyes Various Types of Effective Injectable Fillers • Autologous tissue injectables This is a very safe form of fillers and long-lasting results are ensured. Here, the dermatologist would harvest fat from various areas of the body. After the purification of the fat, it would be re-injected to the targeted area. With a couple of fat injection sessions, permanent results can be achieved. • Hyaluronic acid injectables Restylane is an advanced injectable and is made from natural hyaluronic acid. It is an effective and a safe solution through which reliable augmentation is provided for approximately six months. There are hardly any complications involved in this. Repetition of treatments may be necessary as per individual requirements. • Permanent silicone injectables With permanent injectable dermal fillers, good results can be obtained. However, some complications and risks are involved in it. So these are not used much for the face. To provide these injectables, an anesthetic cream is applied in the area which is followed by a small amount of local anesthetic. The specific nerves are numbed due to this and there is minimal discomfort. What Are the Benefits of Radiesse and Restylane? • A youthful appearance is achievedrn• Can be used for enhancement of lipsrn• There is reduction in the expression lines on the facern• Effective in the treatment of wrinkles and foldsrn• Very safe procedurern• Treatments are given in the office.
