2. Beans – research has shown that beans of all kinds is comprise of compounds, protease. This compound is responsible in attacking cancer cells from invading adjacent tissues. Lentil, for example, are legumes and the easiest to prepare. It provides an minimum amount of soluble fiber which is really great for anti-cancer diet.
3. Carrots – there are research stating that beta carotene can cause cancer. However, it has not proven anything about carrots which is rich in beta carotene. Falcarinol, another substance that is found in carrots can also decrease our chance to have lung cancer.
4. Garlic – allium compounds are present in garlic that continuously activates the immune system to fight against cancer cells and breaks down free radicals. It has also an ability in slowly breaking down tumor development.
5. Mushroom – polysaccharides are compunds that can be found in mushrooms and helps in fighting cancer and makes our immune system stronger. A protein called lectin, attacks the abnormal cells and stops them from rapidly growing.
