Quote: “When your mind is intruded with confusion, it becomes a victim to the Veils of Illusions.”

The Veils of Illusions are distortions within the mind perceived from one’s own subjective thinking. When we judge the world based on personal experiences, we lose touch with universal harmony. Illusions are not real. Reality is being able to accept things for what it is. When we avoid reality, the mind splits from unity and manifest into a form of duality. Duality creates conflicts within the mind, multiplying problems from judging the opposing side of our lives. You can stop the struggles from the troubles of the mind by choosing to change your perception at any time. To judge our experiences as good or bad, right or wrong, we lose a sense of where we belong. You must love all of who you are regardless of what others dictate. We were all born here on earth to learn from our mistakes. Mistakes exist to help us grow. Stop the struggles within the mind causing unnecessary troubles. When you are ready to wake up from the veils of illusions, the mind will liberate itself from a world of mental confusion.

We perceive the world as our own personal reality and see others as opposites in the form of duality. Perceptions are learned from childhood experiences. What is the truth when every single person has a difference in opinion. We learn who we are within our inner being not from the teachings of familiarity. Do you live life for society or follow your own individual path of reality? We are all unique in a special way. Change your perception of the world and choose to be happy. When you accept others without judging, feel the love in your heart finally opening. Remember, life is what you make it. When you learn to love yourself, the world will embrace this positive energy without you trying so hard to feel accepted. We can view the world in a positive or negative state of mind. Try seeing the truth to reality when you open your eyes and loosen up the blinds. What you see is what you get. Treat others with kindness without holding on to any regrets. Perceive the world in unity and God will help you reach your highest capabilities. Move beyond the illusions of trickery and open your heart with feelings of honesty. Do not absorb the beliefs and thoughts of others. Think for yourself and become your own teacher. Take off the blinds and see the world objectively. This is where you will find the truth to reality. Conscious reality is being able to see things for what is it, not by coloring your perceptions to fit into your ideas. When we view life from a subjective sense, the mind will contract back into the illusionary world of defenses. When illusions grow, you lose control and the mind flows where your attention goes. When you take off the Veils of Illusions what do you see, a beautiful individual with a positive attitude and a new system of beliefs. Learn to view the world objectively and your life will create plenty of new opportunities. Tomorrow we will travel down our path to Objective and Subjective Thinking.

Grave danger in uprooting a Guru Do not accept a known guru as guru, and if you do, then do not turn your back on him. Use a pot if you do not like him. The pot will not have any problems. Worship it because your buddhi (intellect) will not be active there and your work will get done. Now who would be so careful that he would not allow his intellect to interfere? How can one understand all this? Questioner: At the time we make someone our guru, he appears to be very good, he

Questioner: If we surrender to the great souls that lived thousands of years ago, can that be considered surrender? Can we make any progress through such surrender or do we need to surrender to a living great man? Dadashri: You can progress even through Paroksha (indirectly- one not currently living). However if you find such a living (Pratyaksh) person, then your liberation will be instant. The indirect approach will give you the benefit of progress but there is no liberatio
