VisiTanzania's Usambara Mountainsting

When you visit a third world country, it is important to know the money you spend is really good you will be visiting the communities. Your visit will change your life, or better. You do not even have to attend. If you choose to simply relax and enjoy your vacation it is good - leave your life changes, the better. This, however, if you choose your operator carefully and prudently.
It is well worth the time and effort to travel less, traveling the country and visit. Here in Tanzania, one of these areas are Usamabara mountains. Here we are talking about the West Usambara Mountains.
Leaving Arusha and travel by road for several hours, passing the great Kilimanjaro across endless arid landscape, you will arrive at Mombo, and then continue. Raise the left knee almost magically transports you in an instant, the Usamabara mountains. Often they are called little Switzerland of Africa - do not choose to listen to the misleading talk. These mountains are in Africa and the experience to be taken to have the opportunity and time permits.
If you are traveling to this destination, bite the bullet and go to the very top of the mountain. At the very top of the mountain where the magic lies, and time to enjoy and explore. There is a wonderful bird life here, and if you are not interested, nor is it a great place to start interest.
Here I write about a few places to visit. There are many young men and women who have been trained as managers, and it is worth spending a few dollars to pay theses enthusiastic young Tanzanian who share your mountains, culture and time. Africa is always a lot of time - you have everything slowly, or you just miss the magic.
The pre-colonial days, these mountains is very fertile, has been witness to many bloody battles between residents and Maasa Shambaa genera. Shambaa people have never been defeated in the Maas, and managed to survive their most valuable green land.
Mtae is a small village to the west of the Usambara mountain peaks. Here is a spectacular view point with a drop of 1000m just below Savannah. Mt Kilimanjaro is more than 240 miles, and on a clear day you can see this huge mountain of snow with the crown, sitting on the border of Kenya.
Tewes lives in a village or tribal Shilaghi English "have-nots" for centuries these people were blacksmiths and as such was considered to be at the bottom of the social order, the other clans had forbade the marriage of this clan. Taewon is the village blacksmith, and almost every knife used in the Usambara mountains come of the Tawe. Today, most people in this village blacksmith to make a living from trading regardless of clan or gender.
Traditionally, the locals would be to extract iron from the soil, but with the arrival of the colonial era, has come to scrap the locals and learned the art of re-cycling. There are now a step back to the iron-mining local and foreign funding helps to develop the art of blacksmiths in the village.
Mvueni Falls is in the high mountains. It is so quiet, there is no background noise, it must be experienced to be believed. This is where you can swim, even though the water is very cold. Mkuze River channel Mvueni fall, which is more than 2,300 meters above sea level. The river descends down the mountains and as it goes along the water cascades Soni falls dramatically toward the Pangani river, dropping over 800 meters within a couple of kilometers.
Usambara mountains, Lushoto capital is worth spending some time exploring. There are at play in cultural tourism office on the main road. Also, if it is on the market some time to walk around the market these very friendly people of the mountain.
