Believe it or not, your life experience is created through the power of your imagination. Think about it. If your child is two hours late getting home, you probably will play out many scenarios in your mind, frightening yourself with possible images. If you are planning your next vacation on the beach in Mexico you probably see the beach in your mind as you make the booking. You are using your imagination all of the time, in everything that you do. When you remember past events, you are imagining. The same is true when you think about the future. When you focus on anything with feeling, you are bringing it to you.

When you worry, you fill your brain with negativity. Worry is literally sending negative energy into your future. Our brains worry because we have not trained them. We must master our minds. When you imagine the worst-case scenario, you bring it to you. However, if you are happy and excited, you can use the power of your brain in a positive way. Using the power of your imagination can give you the strength to be your best.

Everything is created twice: once in your mind and then in form. Look at the room you are in, notice any three things and realize that someone had to think of those objects for them to come into creation. When you imagine yourself with something you want, you are tuning in to the energy and frequency of it, and you begin to think, act, and feel in accordance with this vibration.

Try it! Imagine something that you’d like, whether it is money, health, a particular career, a partner, a vacation, happiness, or something else. What would your life be like if that thing was already in it? Close your eyes and imagine what having that thing in your life will feel. How will it look? What will it sound like?

What do you see yourself doing in your imagined picture? How are you talking and moving? How are you standing? Pay attention to how your voice sounds and the language you are using. Look at the details in your picture and try to capture as much as you can.

There is probably a difference between yourself right now and your imagined picture of yourself. Your next task is to try to become as much like this picture of yourself as you can. Step into the life of your imagination like you are practicing a scene in a play. Walk, talk, and act like that person. Be that happy person now! When you start acting like the person in your imagined picture, the frequency of your desire will undergo a shift. Whatever we think about expands. Your imagination is showing you who you need to become in order to make your dreams into reality. You are being shown how you should look and act. Copy it and become that person!

Practice drawing up that imagined picture of your desire. Seeing the picture will remind you of how you need to act, feel, and be in order to become the person that you wish to be. Do your best to become the person you imagine. You’ll be amazed by how fast you’ll begin to see your desire taking shape.

This process, based on the physics of the Universe, is one of the most useful at our disposal. Visualizing works! Your imagination is a powerful tool: harness its strength today!
