Vitamin E is a powerful antioxidant that can reduce the signs of aging not only externally but internally as well. The first signs of aging appear on your skin such as wrinkles, fine lines, sagging, age spots and stretch marks. Unfortunately they are unsightly and most people would prefer to remove them. However, what most people don’t realize is that even as our age skins the inside of our body is aging too. After you reach 30 many of our bodily functions start to slow down and once you reach 40 you start to notice these signs more prevalently. Less energy, increased weight gain, higher cholesterol, higher blood pressure, less flexibility, and weakness are just some of the signs of aging. Additionally the risk for many diseases also increases as we age. However, to combat the signs of aging both internally and externally making sure you get your recommended daily allowance of vitamin E you can slow the progression and reduce these signs significantly.
Vitamin E is a powerful vitamin that does wonders for the skin. When those signs of aging appear on your skin, then its time to break out the vitamin E. Although you should be getting your recommended daily allowance of vitamin E to minimize these signs throughout life, the skin will always readily absorb vitamin E and have a beneficial affect on the skin. Vitamin E is an antioxidant that inactivates free radicals that cause oxidative reactions in the body. Oxidative reactions change the appearance and shape of cells, which can cause diseases such as cancer, arthritis, and cataracts and cause skin to wrinkle, sag and spot. Vitamin E completely eliminates free radicals, which saves the cell and skin. It also replenishes skin cells. When the skin cells die, the dead skin cells fluff off and vitamin E helps regenerate newer, younger, healthier and smoother skin cells. This reduces the oxidative stress that is put on the skin.
Additionally vitamin E promotes circulation of blood, oxygen and nutrients throughout the body. As an anticoagulant, vitamin E reduces blood clotting which is a risk for heart disease. Vitamin E purifies the blood and promotes hemoglobin. By dilating the blood vessels more blood can flow throughout the body allowing for more oxygenation and nutrition. This decreases blood pressure, which reduces the risk for hypertension and heart attacks.
Vitamin E is a disease fighter, which reduces the risk for several diseases. Vitamin E fights against arthritis, muscle cramps, cancer, Alzheimer’s, atherosclerosis, cardiovascular disease, heart disease, cataracts, and stroke. Vitamin E protects the body by reducing key elements in the body, which can lead to aging, disease and ultimately death. When disease appears in the body it is not only a sign of aging but a sign of poor nutrition and health. As one of the strongest antioxidants vitamin E inhibits the ability for cell structure to change, which is one of the leading causes of disease appearance in the body. In cancer, vitamin E inhibits the growth of cancer cells. For arthritis, vitamin E relieves pain, swelling and stiffness in joints. Vitamin E increases circulation of the blood, oxygen and nutrients, which reduces the risk for stroke, heart attack, heart disease and cardiovascular disease. Vitamin E reduces plaque build up inside arteries as well as inhibiting fatty acid from reforming inside arterial walls, which causes atherosclerosis. Vitamin E increases white blood cells, which boosts the immune system to fight off infection and disease.
Overall vitamin E is effective in fighting disease, increasing circulation, anti aging, skin care and keeping the body you and youthful. As an antioxidant it reduces not only the external appearance of the body but the internal aspects that cause aging as well. By eliminating the internal problems vitamin E protects the skin and keeps us feeling young, and beautiful.
