We can not avoid overstated advertisement completely
Written by James dong
We can see many companies may adopt overstated advertisement to improve sell records.
The advertisement may say the products are good in terms of package, content, function, or significance etc.
While when the consumer really paid for it, consumers found that the products were not the same as the advertisement.
One of the largest restaurant chains in the mainland reportedly used cheap flavoring powder instead of pork bone in its noodle soup.
Investigation revealed that the soup was diluted from base concentrate and other ingredients, but said no powder had been used.
The nutrition and calcium content is four times of milk and 10 times that of meat is exaggerated largely.
It was sold at 20 to 30 renminbi per bowl. Some consumers may think it is still worth the payment but some may feel they are cheated.
We can view many e-business websites that the sellers have posted product description and pictures.
We can see the description which can really attract our attention and arouse our interest.
In fact, description is not correct or overstated and the picture is better than the real product.
IBUonline as an innovative B2B portal can not avoid such description or pictures completely on the website.
IBUonline suggest international buyers need to take more caution on checking suppliers’ information before purchase.
