Our well-being also effects our actions and emotions, on the other side. It's a continuous circle. So it is very important for every one to achieve maximum wellness in other to be free from stress, illness and ensure positive interaction.

Dimensions of wellness are eight and they include; occupational, emotional, spiritual, environmental, financial, physical, social and intellectual wellness. Each of these dimension are related with another. Each is equally important in the pursuit of maximum health.

Environmental wellness helps in creating environmental friendly awareness, it helps u s to live a lifestyle that encourage our surroundings by living in harmony with the earth by taking action to protect it. Environmental well-being promotes interaction with nature and our personal environment.

Financial wellness is learning to effectively manage our financial expenses successfully. Money is very vital in our live, lack of money impacts a lot on our academic performance. Financial stress is steadily found to be a common source for stress, anxiety and fear for college students.

Intellectual wellness entails being open when you encounter new ideas and continuous expansion of your knowledge base. It encourages active participation in scholastic, cultural and community activities.

Occupational wellness has to do with the joy you derive from your occupational endeavors and how well your contributions are accepted. This type of wellness encourages personal satisfaction and enrichment in one's life through work.

Physical wellness is maintaining a healthy body and seeking healthcare when needed. Physical wellness is achieved through exercise, eating well, getting enough sleep and paying attention to signs off illness an d getting help when needed.

Social wellness is the ability of performing our social roles effectively and comfortably, it also help us to create support network. Social well-being not only help relationship development with peers but also intimate relationship with romantic partners.

Spiritual wellness help us to develop values, rules, that helps us to seek meaning and purpose, which can be done in many ways through religion or relaxation. Being spiritually well is knowing which source and resources to use in coping for our day to day life.

Finally, maintaining good or quality life involves knowing the importance of our wellness and optimizing our eight dimension of well-being.
