The pharmacy your purchase from should have various unit dose style for you to choose from to make your medication consumption fit your lifestyle. Unit Dose packaging also increases shelf-life for medication which is better for you, the consumer, and your local pharmacy. Another huge advantage is that unit dose packaging protects medication from contamination. Each medi dose is safe in its little sterile bubble, or capsule or whatever unit dose style. The blister unit dose packaging which is the little bubble packs, also called ptp or "push thru pack" make it easy to keep track of calendar days for your medi dose. An example of an every-day use this unit dose style is for birth-control tablets. If you have seven unit dose packaging bubbles across and three or four down then you know if you skip a day or when you need to take the other medi dose of birth-control for the menstruation cycle each month.
