Malaria is also one of the most common disease that may affect people of any age. It is a tropical disease that is spread by night biting of mosquitoes. Plaquenil is an antimalarial drug used to treat malaria. It is also used to treat rheumatoid arthritis and a fatal autoimmune disease known as Lupus affecting the heart, joints, skin, lungs, blood vessels, liver, kidneys and nervous system. Generically known as Hydroxychloroquine, it is available in the form of Plaquenil 200 mg tablets.
