The manager has to draft the contract, make necessary bookings for the client, review the agreement with other vendors, and more.
Apart from these, the event manager needs to keep a note on the theme of the event, the food to be prepared for the game, the decorations, and more. The event planner or manager has to keep a check on the accommodation of the client’s guests. Along with all of it, the planner needs to try out new cuisines and wines, trending dishes, so that they can provide all the necessary supplies when there is a need for it. To become a private dining planner, you can come up from any background. It depends on the company you wish to work with and their requirements. Commonly, such companies prefer employees with prior experience in either catering industry or private dining industry or as a coordinator at restaurants
You can also join as an event planner if you are from the customer service and sales department. Candidates who belong to the hotel industry are preferred more than any other. At some restaurants, a Bachelor’s degree is minimally required to join in as an event planner or manager.
