What do I do to get the answer to the spiritual question "Who am I"?

Suppose there is a kid of three. He wants to learn A, B, C, D, .... 1, 2, 3. Can he do it himself? Even if you give him a notebook and a pencil, he will just make a line. But he doesn’t know this is one and what is two. Somebody must make him realize this is one, this is two, isn’t it? So, a teacher is required.

Similarly, suppose somebody wants to become a doctor. Does he himself have to do something or he has to go to some expert doctor, some teacher? He shall need a teacher, an expert.

This is a simple solution!

When you get proper guidance, you will reach your destination; in this case the destination of Pure Soul!

So, to know ‘who am I’, the Self-Realized person is required. With the grace of the Self-Realized person, you will also get realization of Pure Soul. Once you achieve that thing, then there will not be any confusion, and no doubt will remain.

In Akram, Vignan, you can get the knowledge of Self-Realization with the grace of Param Pujya Dada Bhagwan. You will enjoy reading from the above, and it should answer a lot of questions that you may have regarding, in reality who Am I. However, it is important to actually realize ‘who Am I’ (Self-Realization), which is possible only by experiencing it.

‘I am John (you may insert your own name here)’ is a wrong belief.

By wrong belief, you feel oneness with John, his mind, thoughts, intellect, speech, behaviour. Whenever John takes decision, you feel ‘I have taken decision.’ Somebody insults John, you feel ‘I suffered due to this insult.’ So your belief is wrong. And due to wrong belief, you are involved in John. Now, after Self-Realization (attained through Gnanvidhi in Akram Vignan), Gnani changes your wrong belief to right belief.

Thereafter by right belief, you keep separation with John. This is the beginning of the experience of the Soul. Say, it is 1 degree (percent) of experience. We have to reach 100 degrees (percent). Slowly, as you practice the principles given by Gnani, your awareness will go on increasing you will get more experience of Pure Soul.

Just like you enter in medical college, here you are entering the college of liberation. So atleast, 300 hours per year, you have to spend with us (in satsang).

You just be in touch with us because it is given knowledge. So there are so many confusions, so many beliefs that we are having, because of whatever we are doing from the time we want liberation. We want salvation, so we are doing something upto this point in life. Whatever you are doing with doership, it won’t help you reach to the realization of Pure Soul.

You can be in satsang in touch with us. You ask whatever I am doing is correct or wrong, what is correct? So we’ll explain to you. Then, wrong belief will get fractured, and the right understanding, more and more clear understanding, you shall get from this satsang.

Only then you will get more and more experience of Pure Soul. So first, understanding should be clear; then, the awareness; and then, the experience of Pure Soul. These are the steps. When you remain in touch with us, you will get step-by-step awareness and further experience of Pure Soul exactly. That’s why we always prefer that you should remain in satsang with us.”
