While on a gig, working for long hours, look at distant objects either in your office or outside in the balcony. Looking at a distant object and then returning to your task helps your eyes focus better. This is a tip that improves and sustains your image detection and helps to augment focusing skills.
You should know about the science of your eyes, before you can judge a suitable environment for them, and turn towards tips of eye care for a computer user. Most of our daily work load is handled and managed on computers, and there is usually no elusive excuse from it. It is a visually intensive endeavor each time and, unfortunately, our work pressure and lifestyles do not give us the opportunity to be caring towards our eyes. Below we have a few tips of eye care for computer users.
While honestly working, sit straight at your office table and rub your palms against each other till you make them warm. The warmth of your palms helps soothe and relax tired eyes. Then, lightly cup your eyes with your palms and relax for an approximate of a few seconds. Repeat this exercise two to three times whenever your eyes feel tired, or as often as you want.
To start off with, you should ensure that regular work hours should be infused with short breaks. During these respites, what we suggest is a short and convenient exercise. It is as simple as blinking your eyes several times to avoid the consistent stress on them of looking attentively at the computer screen. Next, while you keep your eyes closed, roll your eyeballs both clockwise and anticlockwise and take deep breaths. Gradually and steadily open up your eyes while exhaling. The optimum exercise duration is a minute and you can repeat it three times before getting back to work.
Other physical attempts towards eye care for computer users is to splash water on the face with your eyes closed, while still on a recess. This little effort has an overall relaxing effect and helps you feel refreshed. As soon as you are done with lunch, stroll outside your office for a bit, and inhale the fresh air outside. This provides the eyes with a much efficient and refreshing break. Drinking plenty of water assists to mitigate puffiness. When a person is dehydrated, especially nowadays where there are air-conditioned offices, the body starts storing water as a defense mechanism. This adds to puffiness around the eyes. Incorporation of Vitamins A, C, and E on a daily basis, into the diet is an obligation. Make a habit of eating fruits and vegetables, along with a certain amount of protein.
