What Is Limu Moui
Written by Rita Elkins M.H.
This information is from, Limu Moui, by Rita Elkins M. H. and from National Library of Medicine, website www.pubmed.gov. Review over 720 research studies on Fucoidan from scientist around the world.
Limu Moui is a sea vegetable in the brown seaweed family that is harvested from the pristine waters of the Tongan Islands in the South Pacific. As scientific data emerges, this singular ocean organic plant is creating new interest among biochemists because of Limu Moui’s remarkable nutritive, immune-building and disease-fighting properties. Limu Moui contains a storehouse of natural minerals and vitamins, glyconutrients, essential amino acids, essential fatty acids and polysaccharides that can help support immune functions.
The KEY nutrient in Limu Moui is Fucoidan, which according to prominent Japanese researcher Dr. Kyosuke Owa, is said to “contain the same healing antibodies found in mother’s milk, providing essential amino acids and a balanced diet of minerals necessary to boost the immune system.”
With today’s toxic world and nutrient depleted soil, our bodies are in desperate need of nutrients to maintain good health. Tongans have a high rate of centenarians (people living over 100 year) on Earth. Researchers discovered the common denominator was and still is Limu Moui.nn*You’d have to eat dozens of bowls of spinach today to equal the iron content of one bowl served in 1930! Due to soil depletion from modern farming techniques, the use of artificial fertilizers, and fast turnaround harvesting, our vegetables today are not providing our bodies with the nutrients we need to live a health life.
Limu Moui contains over 77 ‘known’ nutrients such as:
*Fucoidan *Glyconutrients (galactose, mannose, xylose) *Seventeen amino acids (including glycoprotein’s) *A wide range of essential and nonessential fatty acids *A broad spectrum of essential minerals and vitamins *A variety of Polyphenols (powerful antioxidant plant compounds that protect the body from dangerous free radicals)
Glyconutrients are vital for optimal immune function. Studies have found that people with unbalanced levels of the eight essential glyconutrients are more likely to have diseases such as anemia, rheumatoid arthritis, respiratory infections and even cancer.
Polyphenols found in Limu Moui act as superb cell protectors that help prevent:
*Malignant growths *Degenerative diseases *Toxic accumulation in tissuesn*Tissue damage *Skin deterioratio
Fucans & Fucoidan: complex polysaccharides with -cancer-protective and immune-stimulant properties, which also raise HGF (hepatic growth factor) for better overall health.
Organic Iodine: supports normal metabolism and optimal thyroid functio
Alginate: natural detoxifier
Laminarin: anti-clotting and anticancer compound (Research studies have confirmed the ability of Fucoidan to discourage blood clot formation. November 2000 issue of European Journal of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery statesn “Fucoidan is more potent antiproliferative poly- sulphated polysaccharides tha
Heparin.”
Colloidal Minerals:n . Retain their integrity even when in a liquid suspensionn. Micro-minerals: their tiny size makes them easier for our bodies to absorb through the cell walln. Plant source of colloidal minerals are easier to absorb. They are not in a metallic form, which can poison the body.n. Help transport and utilize other nutrients such as vitamins possiblen. Facilitate the removal of toxic substances in the body.
