What Is Ping And Why You Should Ping Your Blog?

Every one want to show his/her blog to as many people as possible to get more visitors it can be a commercial interest or just for fan just to let people know about yourself and what you think.
There are always million of different gurus which are ready to sell you super secret product to boost your traffic in 5 minutes but the thing is that they will sell you the same old method which described a little bit different and useless.
I’ll remind you about one of them. It’s an old way but it still works very well, it’s “Pinging your blog”.
What is ping?
This is special service which will notify servers that content of your blog has been updated. Simply you will be able to notify entire internet about changes in your content. It’s all free and takes about 5 minutes to ping your blog in all these ping services. I forgot to mention one thing: you can use pinging with paid word press blogs as well

Just type in Google search bar “ping service” and take first five.
Why do I need more than one?
All ping services have different thematic and different list of servers where they will update your blog. Here is my advice: “Ping as much as you can use as many ping services as you can”. Some of the services will automatically update your content after you did it once but it better to do it manually.
How often should I ping my blog to see results?
These services usually do not accept more than one update in 12 hours.
It will be good to renew your blog once a day and notify ping services about that.
This is not super traffic generation system, so in the beginning you will get 10 new unique visitors more after few weeks 15 and so on. Of course it depends on content of your blog; it must be interesting and useful.
