The love that this world talks about is worldly, and that is why this world is so complex itself. This worldly love is infatuation and attraction. Where there are infatuation and attraction, there is desire. When desire does not get fulfilled, complaints and attacks arise from within.

There is no such thing as love in this world. It is all infatuation and attraction. You will realize this right away when someone you love says something negative about you. Not for even a second has anyone become one’s own. That is why the Lord has said, ‘Every living being is an orphan’.

Infatuation and attraction is not limited to women and men only, it is there wherever there is worldly love that clings. It clings even to material things.

The Science of Infatuation and Attraction:

It is like the attraction between a magnet and a pin. When the magnet is brought closer to a pin, the pin sticks to the magnet. Similarly, the body has magnetic properties due to the presence of the electrical body within. So when the body encounters atoms compatible with its own, attraction occurs, while with others, there is no such attraction. This attraction is known as attachment and abhorrence.

Attachment is relative and changing and pure love is real and unchanging. Love does not increase or decrease. If it does, it is not love, it is attachment. When the relative love becomes excessive, it is called attachment and one becomes trapped in it. When it decreases it turns into abhorrence. What people call love in this world, is the language of illusion and deception. The warmth of real love is very different. Love is something very divine.

Definition of Pure Love:

Pure Love is that

(2) Which never increases or decreases. It resides in the heart and remains the same.
(2) Where no faults are seen in the loved one. Where the love of give-and-take arises, all faults will be seen there.
(3) Where there are no expectations.

Where do we find Pure Love?

If one wants to acquire the supreme love, a love that this world has not seen, heard, believed, or experienced before, then one should worship the living embodiment of love, the Gnani Purush (The Enlightened One). One can never find anything comparable to the love of the one who is a complete vitaraag (free from attachment and abhorrence). If one experiences his aura just once in his life, he will never be able to forget that love even for a moment.

How to become the Embodiment of Love:

One becomes the embodiment of love

(1) When one does not look for rules and regulations
(2) When one becomes free of all insistence
(3) When one is free from abhorrence
(4) When one can see all the living beings as flawless
(5) When one gets rid of the differences with everyone and feels a sense of oneness with everyone.

“When does Love arise? It is when you ask for forgiveness for all mistakes that have occurred so far. You accept that you and only you are at fault for seeing fault in others. You should take this approach with those for whom you wish to become the embodiment of love. Only then will you feel love.” – Param Pujya Dada Bhagwan.

There is no problem if the other person pushes us, but we have to make sure that we do not push the other person. Only then will we obtain the love of the other person.

If a person leaves after insulting you, and returns a few minutes later, if your love for him does not diminish, that is pure love.

Author's Bio:

Ambalal M. Patel was a civil contractor by profession. In June 1958, spontaneous Self-Realization occurred within Ambalal M. Patel. From this point on, Ambalal became a Gnani Purush, and the Lord that manifested within him became known as Dada Bhagwan. A Gnani Purush is One who has realized the Self and is able to help others do the same. Param Pujya Dada Bhagwan used to go from town to town and country-to-country to give satsang (spiritual discourse) and impart the knowledge of the Self, as well as knowledge of harmonious worldly interactions to everyone who came to meet him. This spiritual science, known as Akram Vignan, is the step-less path to Self-realization.
