The third type is the triglycerides. Triglycerides in conjunction with cholesterol help in forming the fat of the blood known as plasma lipid. When the calorie intake is more than can be used up, it gets converted into triglycerides and is stored as fat which is used up later when the body needs energy.
High cholesterol levels can be quite dangerous and can cause stroke, chest pain, heart disease, heart attack and problem in the arteries. To prevent these dangers in case of high cholesterol levels, we can take the course of proper medication along with a controlled diet which is less fatty low in carbohydrates.
