What Places to Visit in Saint Lucia?

Santa Lucia is a small island state that is located in the Caribbean Sea and has many spectacular, interesting and paradisiacal places to contemplate.

-Soufrière. It is one of the most important cities of Santa Lucia, and stands out for having a beautiful bay bathed by the Caribbean Sea. Its streets are narrow and its architecture is small houses with two floors of different colors and heights.

-Sulphur Springs (near Soufrière). It is one of its most famous and visited tourist attractions on the island. It is a geothermal area, the same crater of the Qualibou volcano, from which emanate some impressive sulfur vapors. There are also natural pools and a flea market.

-Monts Pitons. They arise from the sea, close to the island of Santa Lucia and its landscape is truly memorable. Contemplating the two Pitons from the viewpoint before reaching the town is worth it. -Cascada Toraille. It is one of the most watched sites, and is also in the vicinity of Soufrière. It is located in an environment surrounded by tropical vegetation that forms an authentic botanical garden with Pitons in the background. The waterfall measures 15 meters high and under it there is a natural pool for a swim.

-Canary Bay . It is a district located on the west coast of the same, on the shores of the Caribbean Sea. It is noteworthy that along the coast there are small fishermen fishing villages and you can take boat trips.

-The port of Castries. It is one of the main cruise lines in the Caribbean and you can find two berths for cruise ships: Le Place Carenage and Pointe Seraphine. Nearby, you will find the marina and duty free shops .

-Anse La Raye. It is located on the west side of the island and is a small fishing village. The main street is Front Street, which runs parallel to the bay, with colonial-style buildings. Its main monument is "Roman Catholic Church" of the seventeenth century. On the outskirts of the city we can enjoy a waterfall (Anse La Raye Falls), and also the picnic area of River Rock with another waterfall and natural pool.

-Cathedral of Immaculate Conception. It is a monument that you have to visit in Santa Lucia. Highlights its colorful art and impressive stained glass windows. The most striking is the contrast between the colors, the whiteness of the altars and the delicacy of floral arrangements.

-Playa de Marigot. With fine white sand that contrasts with the blue color of the sea, and that reminds us of a postcard. The palm trees and mountains that surround it stand out and it is an ideal beach for water sports such as windsurfing, sailing and snorkeling.
