What You Need to Know if You Want to Earn Income on the Internet(Part 1)
Written by Terry Unrau
When you first start to think about starting an internet or home based business you need to determine your marketing and selling strategy. In order to earn income on the internet you will need a strategy that will generate recurring revenue and build customer relationship. There are essentially two strategies you can pursue.
One of these strategies to earn income on the internet is to sell a high volume of low value products through your website. Low value products between twenty to one hundred dollars would require enormous volume of sales and customers to reach your wealth goals. You could engage in MLM and affiliate marketing strategies that help you create huge down lines or distributor teams. This technique alone may not bring you the results you are seeking.
The other strategy is to offer customers value. Provide more value to each customer to earn income on the internet and produce greater customer satisfaction and recurring customers. Promote a low value item to your customers that will produce interest for higher value products. So instead of just adding volume of sales add value of sales to increase your income. Gear your marketing and sales funnel to build customer interest by adding high value products.
In early internet marketing strategies online businesses would offer ebooks for twenty seven to thirty seven dollars. As the cost of advertising and selling these products grew they could not earn income on the internet as they anticipated. Instead the trends changed to begin offering value products and services to customers. So in the example of ebooks, they would continue to offer an ebook for twenty seven dollars as a front end product but would also offer a larger product suite with a higher value product on the back end at perhaps twenty thousand dollars. This higher value product could be a training course or program that was the end result of the initial ebook offering.
Using this type of strategy the need to sell mass volume of low value products diminished while increasing the need to provide few sales of the high value products. This concept allowed businesses to earn income on the internet and reach faster wealth goal results. Selling and marketing your low value products to promote interest in high value products has been proven to provide greater recurring revenue streams for your internet business.
