What You Should Not Do When You Want Your Ex Back
Written by Casey Wright
After separating from someone you are deeply in love with, you will experience a range of many different emotions. As you contemplate getting them back in your life, you might feel hurt, sadness or depression. Common sense will get you far when you decide to act upon your intentions to get your ex back.
The best advice when you are in this position is to stick to simple and honest advice. But remember that only you can give yourself the best opportunity to get back together with your ex. There are a few things that you should stay away from when trying to get your ex back and here are a few examples.
Playing games may make you feel good in the short-term but it is advised against, even though it may give you the upper hand. More than anything, it can make your ex feel as though you don't really care. Using tricks is a surefire way to break any trust you had built up with your ex, if they ever find out.
Most of us will know of someone who has tried to make their ex jealous at some point by pretending to be with someone else. There is mixed success with this strategy again because sometimes it will work but other times it will work against you. It can be seen as moving on too quickly as if you didnt care too much for them in the first place. It is too hard to tell which path this strategy will take until it has already been taken.
Try to keep a lid on any anger from the break up too. When you are ready to get back together with your ex, you must be ready to forgive them for any hurt feelings too. Think about your actions each step of the way. Think about how your ex must see you and if this is causing a hinderance in your plan.. Leave out any shouting or nagging to make hime feel more at ease with you.
If you can overcome both anger and any hurt feelings, you are a step closer to being that person that they can easily miss. It is suggested to keep this up for as long as it takes to give them that chance to remember the things they miss most about you. Distracting them from your good points is never a good idea.

Dr. Venus Nicolino: You Have To Make Yourself Available To Find Good Relationships
The idea of making yourself more desirable by making yourself less available doesn't make a lot of sense when you think about it. The end of Sleepless in Seattle shifts from "awww" to "aw, no" if one of the two main characters skips the trip to the Empire State Building. As these examples from fiction show, making yourself
