Many people take protein powders to make sure that they get enough protein in their diet. However, the question we always get are "When is the best time to take protein?" It's not an easy answer since peoples lifestyle are different, but there are 4 important times of day to get protein. 1) The first thing in the morning. You wake up after having slept for 6-8 hours and your body has not received any nutrition during those hours. So here it is important to get some protein. 2) Before training. Scientific research has shown that a small amount of protein will help you get results faster. 3) After training. Again research has shown that a mix of carbohydrates and protein right after training gives better results. 4) Right before bedtime. Your body is going to starve for some hours, so taking a slow release protein like kasein protein will make sure aminos are getting into your muscles for many hours while sleeping.
