White label mobile marketing: An insight
Written by Adelwolf Mccurdy
Let’s discuss white label mobile marketing and the reasons of its popularity. SMS advertising is quite affordable in comparison to print and audio visual ads. An SMS takes less than a few minutes in being ready and it can be flashed across millions of mobile numbers within a short time. It is called bulk SMS advertising and one can send millions of SMSs at the cost of a print advertisement in a leading newspaper or magazine. One can send as many SMSs as one wants and in this way control budget. But this is not possible with print advertisements.
An SMS is sent to a functional mobile phone and studies revealed that every SMS is read. People read messages before deleting or saving the messages. Also SMSs are shared between mobile users. A message opens a communication line between the sender and the receiver. If one finds any merit in a message, one can reply the message and get more details. On the other hand, print and audio visual advertisements are one-way communication. They tell the people about specific products and services. If you want to buy a product advertised in a print ad then you need to rush to local market. White label mobile marketing has certainly an edge over other forms of advertising.
White label mobile marketing is advantageous for all businesses including retail, real estate, hospitality, healthcare, education and service sector. Take example of real estate. Property developers look for clients to sell their homes. They can advertise about their development work through SMS and wait for the clients to respond. The clients would assess the opportunity and respond according to their needs. A restaurant can use bulk SMS marketing to expand its reach. With SMS marketing, the restaurant owner can distribute his contact details to his probable customers.
