Why does Nature want to keep us in the Loop
Written by Dada Bhagwan
Nature is not some entity!
It neither wants or desires anything, nor keeps any partiality or prejudice towards anyone. The natural process of so many circumstances coming together is Nature. When two atoms of hydrogen and one of oxygen come together, we automatically get water. This is the rule! There is nobody who has to make the rules. Everything runs scientifically and naturally.
The rules of karma are such that when we create karma, the result will come naturally and automatically. The karma itself does this. It happens on its own. If anyone were to drink poison, he would automatically die. No one is needed in the middle to bring the results. This puzzle has come about on its own and it is governed by the laws of science. The whole world is run by this energy. These words are not easy to understand unless we think about them very closely.
What is the theory of karma?
If we yell, "You are a thief!" into a well, what happens? We will hear the word's echo, right?
If you don't like to hear what comes to you, say that which you would like to hear. Give what you would want to receive - This is the principle of karma! Karma means action. And reaction is the echo of our previous action. The fruits are inevitable.
Effect is because of causes created in past; and during effect one creates new causes for futurer
If someone insults us by saying, 'you are stupid', it is an effect. He has said this because of our past karma. When the time is up for maturation of karma, it automatically comes into effect, just like these mangoes ripen automatically.
However, during this occurrence of insult, the negative reaction that occurs within us such as, 'you are stupid', is the cause for the next life. The words 'you are stupid' that were given to us were well within the laws of karma. Our reaction transgressed that law, and therefore the words 'you are stupid' will now have to be given to us once again in future.
Any suffering or enjoyment experienced during the discharge of an effect, leads to new causes, which in turn will bring effects in the next life. In this manner, due to 'causes and effects, and effects and causes' the cycle perpetuates.
The flawless vision!!
People say, “He insulted me; he is the ‘doer’.” However, the fact is that the insult happens because of the unfolding karma of the one being insulted. If we understood what karma is, then there would be no grounds for accusing the other person or even the Nature for our suffering.
The insult is the effect (fruit). It is because of our causes (karmas), that we experience suffering. Yet we go around blaming others, “He did this to me and he did that to me.” And in this way, we ourselves keep us in the loop by doubling and multiplying our karmas in every effect.
The Enlightened Ones see the world as flawless, on this very basis that everyone is dependent on his or her karma (deeds). The person giving us respect or insult is a mere instrument nominated by Nature to help deliver our fruits of karma, and hence he is totally innocent. Such flawless vision helps us solve all effects in our life with equanimity and peace.
We ourselves are ‘wholly and solely’ responsible for keeping ourself in the loop.
Our miseries are the result of our mistakes. We created karmas; which is why the mistake is our own. So the existence of bondage lies entirely on us. Everything we encounter in life is our own design. Nature is not responsible for it; it is only that the design comes into being through Nature.
If we plant a cactus, we cannot expect it to bear mangoes. We get fruits of the tree we plant.
When we hurt someone, that person will bear a grudge against us and will hurt us when the opportunity arises. This will keep both of us in loop!
The deep inner intent in any event is the cause. All else is an effect. So, to break-off from the loop, we will have a sincere inner intent to not hurt any living being through our thoughts, our words or our actions. And in case we happen to hurt someone, we will immediately do hearty repentance for our mistake, along with a resolve to not repeat the mistake again. Yet mistakes will continue to happen, and we will simultaneously keep repenting for it heartily. This way, our karmas will gradually get washed off, allowing us to progress on the path to ultimate liberation.
If the causes are nurtured, rebirth is inevitable.
During our entire life, in every action, new causes are created. On death, the Soul enters another womb. And throughout the life, while experiencing the effect of our past life’s karma, with the wrong belief of ‘I am John (reader may insert his own name here) and I want to do this’, we bind new karmas for next life. In this way, we become trapped in the loop of birth and death.
One can become free from karma, only after we attai
Self-Realization.
Until one becomes Self-realized, it continues to wander from one life to another. Our body too is the result and effect of the ignorance of the Self. When the sowing of new seeds ceases, the worldly life will cease. The Enlightened One alone can put a stop to the causes, after which only the effect will remain. When Gnani, the Enlightened One, gives us the experiential knowledge of our real Self that ‘I am Pure Soul’, new causes will stop, and no new effects will occur thereafter.
Since countless lives, due to ignorance of ‘who am I’, we have kept ourself bound in the loop. But now, come let us go to Gnani, who with His infinite compassion, will get us out of the loop!!!

If the world is an illusion meant to be transcended, why does it exist at all?
To answer your question, letâs study the following words of Param Pujya Dada Bhagwan, an Enlightened being, very carefully. In Gujarati, I call it 'Vyavasthit Shakti'... It is all run by scientific circumstantial evidences. The whole world is run by this energy. These words are not easy to understand, unless
